QD3D 76 - Viewer Error "xy values outside of the viewing window" Explained (11-July-97)

Q I'm viewing a 3dmf file in the SimpleText 1.3.3 application with the QuickDraw 3D 1.5.1 debug extensions installed. When I zoom the object in I get the error "xy values outside of the viewing window". Is this a bug in QD3D?

A No. The above error is returned if the bounding box specified in the file for the geometry contains values outside of the viewing window. Adjust the bounding box values in the 3dmf file and the error should go away.
